Teaching Reiki to Youth in High-Crime Areas

Chicago has some of the highest crime rates in the country, and our youth are not immune to its effects. In the few months members of the Reiki Brigade have been visiting this facility in the Pilsen neighborhood, four youth connected to this community have been shot—two of them fatally. We have been humbled to be invited to participate in their healing process, and so grateful to have reiki to offer them.
