More Reiki "Miracles" at the Winter Stand Down

It's always a joy to offer Reiki to folks in need. I find the greater the need, the greater the opportunity for incredible experiences. In December of 2013, I was joined by several members of the Midwest Reiki Community to offer Reiki at the Jesse Brown VA Stand Down. The Armory was crowded, with 650 vets showing up to receive warm clothing, a hot meal, and wellness services, so the organizers gave us some room in the center of the auditorium. We were able to provide Reiki experiences for roughly 25 attendees amidst the hustle and bustle of the event.

These collaborations are so important as we continue to pave the way for Reiki to be integrated into the VA's treatment plans for those suffering from physical, emotional and psychological scars from their service to our country.
