Reiki @ Barneys

In an important shift towards mind/body wellness, more and more corporate wellness events are including modalities such as reiki. We were happy to introduce the Chicago Barneys NY team to their energetic and spiritual nature via 10-minute reiki sessions. We might have felt underdressed in this posh environment without our reiki glow, but we were popular and folks eagerly awaited their turn in one of our chairs.

"I've been really stressed out," said one of the participants.
"Well you might get so relaxed you'll tip forward in your chair," I responded, half joking. 
"Ha!"
...ten minutes later...
"Did you see that? I almost fell out of the chair! Where's your card?"

Our primary goal is to raise awareness and availability of the benefits of reiki, but sometimes we pick up a client or two as people recognize the value of what they have received. This was one of those times.
