Reiki for the Chicago Fire Academy

We offered Reiki to 37 paramedic recruits and instructors to help them understand that energy healing techniques can be powerful allies in maintaining mental and physical wellbeing.

The recruits had a big test coming up in a couple days so they were all a bit on edge, and very much appreciated the Reiki sessions.

This was our first time visiting the CFD Academy, and hopefully the first of many. We hear there are more than 100 more recruits coming through for EMT training in a few weeks.

We’re always happy to see diversity in the classes for the CPD, and now the CFD.
