Reiki at CPD Academy
/Our quarterly event at the Chicago Police Academy was a huge success—as always—thanks to our inside woman, Michelle.
Favorite feedback: “Amazing. Can I get back in line?”
We love helping new recruits start out their law enforcement journey with knowledge about how stress works, and comfort that the department has prioritized their wellbeing.
With five Reiki practitioners and one person handling registration, we were able to work with 40 recruits, instructors and staff.
It was Sonya Cohen’s first outing with us, and I could hear the people she worked with giving her amazing feedback after their sessions. She was pretty jazzed by the end. Welcome to the Reiki Brigade, Sonya!
Thanks to Liz, Barb, Mary, newbie Sonya, and Meredith (not pictured) for helping to change lives and playing the long game of keeping our city safe.
