Introducing the Reiki Brigade
/ Tribe a healing arts community/ Heather McCutcheonAfter years of doing good works around Chicagoland, we got together to celebrate our success and look to the future. The year 2015 marked some significant milestones. We started offering Reiki inside the Jesse Brown VA hospital and U of C Medical School in January, and several other programs launched thereafter. Many of the folks responsible for these accomplishments gathered—some meeting each other for the first time! It was so fun to see the connections unfold, between veteran volunteers and interested new folks. After some social time and snacks, I did a little presentation and then we shared some Reiki.
Familiar faces and new friends meet and greet as Chicagoland's Reiki community grows and builds momentum. That blanket was a gift from a native American group with gratitude for our service to veterans.
I was so thrilled to share our progress with a recap of last year and upcoming opportunities.
New, cohesive branding will help us share our message and connect with more organizations.
We have a shared vision, now we'll look like a team with these marketing tools.
For those who couldn't make it, wish you were here! Please join us next time. We'll be gathering monthly at Tribe.
Paula offered Reiki during 24, three-hour shifts at Jesse Brown VA in 2015. They love her!
