After years of doing good works around Chicagoland, we got together to celebrate our success and look to the future. The year 2015 marked some significant milestones. We started offering Reiki inside the Jesse Brown VA hospital and U of C Medical School in January, and several other programs launched thereafter. Many of the folks responsible for these accomplishments gathered—some meeting each other for the first time! It was so fun to see the connections unfold, between veteran volunteers and interested new folks. After some social time and snacks, I did a little presentation and then we shared some Reiki.

Making connections

Familiar faces and new friends meet and greet as Chicagoland's Reiki community grows and builds momentum. That blanket was a gift from a native American group with gratitude for our service to veterans.
