Reiki Green-Lighted for Vets at ALL VAs!

We're getting there!

We have been offering reiki at these service fairs for many years. Each session is a blessing, but I have sometimes been frustrated by the lack of movement on the part of the VA as a whole to incorporate reiki into treatment plans for vets with PTSD and in pain. Reiki is so simple, often SO effective, and yet, so overlooked.

The line of homeless vets needing food, clothes, and services was this long, extending out the door and down the block for hours. 

Well, I recently received a huge piece of news, and a reminder to allow for Divine timing. The following is Cut and Pasted from an email I received from an administrator at a local VA hospital:

"The whole VA system across the country is being supported to get going and offer many more integrative therapies in general. We have been given a green light to offer Reiki at all VAs." 

So somewhere high up in this institution, a group of people get it, and are using their power to allow others to get it, too. Good work everyone!

Meanwhile, Greg Zera and I, and the other Reiki Brigade volunteers, keep plugging away, waiting for the right time for ALL medical and social institutions to come to the same conclusion: Reiki heals.
