Reiki for U of C Booth School of Biz

We’ve worked with Loyola University, Northwestern University, Arrupe College, U of C undergrad, and U of C School of Medicine over the years, so I wasn’t surprised to get an email from the Associate Director of Student Wellness for the U of C Booth School of Business. This prestigious graduate program is preparing tomorrow’s leaders, including folks who will be administrators in healthcare systems. We were happy to help them handle their stress with Reiki sessions.

The timing was perfect. Students were awaiting their recruitment matches, finding out where they would start their careers after years of academic excellence. It was stressful for them.

Jose was so organized, and had students sign up for time slots in advance. The schedule filled up within hours of his email!

As always, the surveys reflected a reduction in stress for participants, and we received some lovely qualitative data as well.

Thanks to Chicago Booth for having us, and to Mike, Suzanne and newbie Liz for bringing their hearts and Reiki to this event.

On the way out we were asked if we would consider returning on a quarterly basis as part of the ongoing Student Wellness program. (Spoiler: We would.)
