Reiki at CPD HQ

There was a lot going on at HQ Friday, as the Department prepared to memorialize Enrique Martinez, a 25 year old officer who was gunned down during a traffic stop. Also, adjacent to the room we were using for our Reiki sessions, dozens of detectives were being attending a three-day training in how to identify and handle hate crimes. All in all, a very rough time for the CPD.

We continue to be awed by those who answer the call to join law enforcement knowing the challenges and risks, and were honored to provide Reiki sessions to help alleviate some of the negativity.
