Reiki at Strides for Peace Gun Violence Prevention Expo

Favorite feedback: “I wish I could feel this once per day.”

Reiki can be learned in a two-day class and practiced on the self as a form of self care, and those initiated into Reiki energy are encouraged to maintain a daily practice. So this wish is highly attainable.

This incredible event was orchestrated by Strides for Peace to connect organizations sharing a singular goal: Gun Violence Prevention. The morning saw hundreds of school kids interacting with group representatives and learning emotional intelligence skills. The afternoon was about networking and collaborating, and featured an amazing talk by Mashaun Ali Hendricks and a panel of speakers. We’ve attended a lot of similar events, but none that packed this much punch in terms of thought leadership and content. It was an honor to be included and contribute to the chorus with our message of peace through energy healing.

Thank you to Mike, Meredith, and Monique for coming out into the snow for this event. Thank you to Strides for Peace and all who attended to make the event a huge success.
